Java Backend Developer

Java Backend DeveloperWe are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join a long-term development team in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud technologies, particularly OpenShift, along with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing. The developer will contribute to application development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java.Develop backend services and applications using Spring Boot.Contribute to frontend development using React.Develop and integrate applications using cloud technologies, including OpenShift.Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform unit, integration, and application testing.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and other stakeholders.Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.Support application deployment and maintenance activities.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Java.Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.Experience with React.Experience with Cloud Technologies, particularly OpenShift.Strong understanding of SDLC processes.Experience with software/application testing.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
