Location: Falls Church, VA

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist at West Falls Church Dental, you will:

• Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Take and review digital X-rays (X-ray certification required)
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Contribute to a positive and professional office culture

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of Virginia
• X-ray certification required
• Experience with Dentrix and Dexis is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Open to feedback and growth in a collaborative setting

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
