What You'll Be Doing Determining needs, building value, and gaining acceptance of Verto's solutions with new clients. Prospecting, identifying, and generating new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, and LinkedIn to build a strong pipeline of targeted prospects. Managing the sales pipeline through all sequential stages of the sales process: initial outreach, product demo, negotiation, and closing deals. Taking a consultative approach with the management team while navigating multiple decision‑makers. Consistently exceeding your monthly sales quota and being well‑compensated for doing so. Working closely with the Account Management function to upsell and cross‑sell the Verto suite of products. What You Need Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the payments space. Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward lofty goals. Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation, scheduling, and time management. A coachable, self‑motivated, curious, and resilient mindset. We will not be able to progress your application without all the above skills/qualifications. What We'd Like To See A "black book" of potential clients would be highly advantageous. A well‑rounded background with varied interests and proven leadership experience. Experience in dealing with clients from Africa and the Middle East. Step 2: Hiring Manager Interview – A deeper dive into your skills and experience relevant to the role. Step 3: Panel Interview – Meet key team members and discuss problem‑solving scenarios. Step 4: CEO Chat – Meet our Co‑founder and CEO and explore how you'll be contributing to the wider business strategy. Step 5: Offer – We aim to make a decision quickly after the final interview.
