• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ($17/hr)
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM ($18/hr)

Job Overview

Our busy lumber company is looking for reliable, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Truss Department. In this hands-on role, you will help build roof and floor trusses used in residential construction. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to producing quality work while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build roof and floor trusses according to specifications.
• Read and accurately use a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch .
• Use hand tools and saws to assemble wood components.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
• Lift and move materials weighing  up to 100 pounds .

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16 of an inch.
• Experience using saws and hand tools is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• Eye and ear protection are provided and must be worn while working.
• Must have a clear background and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
