Their duties include replacing kegs, restocking glasses and other supplies needed to make drinks and maintaining a clean bar area throughout their shift. Candidates should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assist with opening and closing dutiesMaintain adequate knowledge of liquors, beers, wines, beverages, specialty beverages, and recipesKeep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and all other necessary items before and during service hoursPrepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock napkins, straws, and other productsClean up spills, remove the glassware and organize bar top and back bar counter spaceKeep the bar area neat, tidy, and cleanHandle urgent situations, such as cleaning up broken glasswareAssist bartenders by removing used or unnecessary items from guests at the bar topBussing the bar top; clean, sanitize, and reset bar top after each guestWorking in a team environment with the ability to be an effective team playerProviding guests with hospitality in a manner that achieves Company service standards and exceeds their expectationsInteracting with guests entering and departing, ensuring a positive dining experienceTake pride in your personal appearance; reporting to work in neat and clean clothing; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by Company policyDisplay integrity and honesty in all aspects of your employmentPerforming other duties as directedKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesGood verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Ability to act with integrity and professionalismMust possess proficient ability to communicate in English in an oral and written format.Ability to absorb and retain information quicklyCalifornia food handlers card requiredBasic reading and writing skillsMulti-task orientedMinimum QualificationsMust be 21 years of age or older at the time of applicationWillingness to work evenings and weekends as requiredKnowledge of and ability to adhere to workplace safety proceduresPreferred QualificationsOne or more years of full-service restaurant experiencePhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
