Westbridge Veterinary Referral Hospital (WVRH), located in West Bridgewater, MA, is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 9-month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at Westbridge Veterinary Referral Hospital. Westbridge Veterinary Referral Hospital is a modern facility spanning over 14,000 square feet, designed to maximize patient care while providing our team with the tools, space, and technology needed to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine in a teaching and learning environment. Our emergency doctors manage receiving and inpatient care, with opportunities to take on soft tissue surgery cases. You’ll work alongside our in-house IM, SX, and ECC specialty departments, as well as collaborate with a broad network of specialists across Ethos. We have friendly and well-trained support staff, with several credentialed technicians. The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician. Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.
