LDRP Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled LDRP Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in our labor and delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in labor and delivery nursing and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum stages.

Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, including those experiencing complications such as hypertension or diabetes.

Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips as per protocols, including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia.

Facilitate breastfeeding support and education in alignment with hospital policies.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experience.

Adhere to AWHONN guidelines for patient care and unit ratios.

Minimum of 3 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.

Ability to pass an open book clinical skills exam during orientation.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license.

12-hour shifts available, with a commitment to every other weekend and holiday as needed.

One week of classroom orientation followed by 2-3 shifts in the unit for hands-on training.

15 LDRP beds and 15 Postpartum beds.

The unit follows a patient-centered approach with high patient experience scores and facilities for breastfeeding.

No floating unless critical staffing is necessary.
