The Make Ready Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical.The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for the following:Daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment communityPreparing vacant apartment homes for new residentsResponds to work orders in a timely mannerPerforms preventative maintenanceHVAC troubleshooting and repairsElectrical troubleshooting and repairsLock installation and repairsMaintain and upkeep all pools on propertyMaintain grounds and common areas to remain free of debris and trashMinor plumbingMinor paintingMinor carpentryAppliance installation and repairsRequirements:40 hours per weekHigh school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience2-3 years general maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, swimming pools and carpentryEPA and/or HVAC certification preferredBSR REIT offers a competitive benefit program to assist team members with everyday life such as medical expenses and providing financial protection in the event of a major illness or injury.
