Exciting Opportunity for a Critical Care Nurse (ICU/CCU)!

Job Description:


- Are you ready to take your nursing career to new heights in a high-paced Critical Care setting?


- As a Critical Care Nurse (ICU/CCU), you will:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles.
- Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, IV) and accurately record them.
- Report any adverse reactions to treatments in accordance with established policies.
- Provide basic bedside care and initiate patient education plans prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses, including home care needs, diet, exercise, medication management, and rehabilitation.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs accurately and timely.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Collect samples for lab work, order prescribed tests, and evaluate lab reports.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays such as pressures and cardiac rhythms.
- Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing while initiating corrective actions when necessary.
