The Inside Sales Administrator will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for providing administrative support to the sales staff, managing customer relations, and reviewing customer paperwork, purchase orders, and contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy. This individual's goal is to maintain an efficient sales department. The role demands a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid foundation in sales principles. With a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, the Inside Sales Assistant plays a critical role in the success of the sales team and the satisfaction of our clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the sales team.
• Review, prepare, maintain, provide, and manage purchase orders, order summaries, sales and purchase contracts, customer delivery reports and other customer and company-related documents.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison between Sales Teams, Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations.
• Authorize schedule adjustments and formulate alternative delivery or technical strategies when dealing with critical lead-time disruptions or supply chain bottlenecks.
• May assist sales managers with negotiation of contract terms with internal and external business partners.
• Maintain organized records of contracts and customer interactions.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.
• Assist in the development of sales reports and performance analysis.
• Independently audit, execute and manage complex customer qualifications and supplier onboarding frameworks. Formulate compliance strategies across diverse procurement platforms to ensure regulatory alignment with customer-specific grid reliability requirements.
• Prepares sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the manager.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field preferred; or 4 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing/sales environment. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• SAP experience is preferred, not required.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with an ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in documents/correspondence.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
