Job Description As a Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing facility operations, managing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to provide a safe, sustainable, and efficient workplace for all employees. A component of this role is collaborating with a third‑party vendor responsible for safety and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of facilities and maintenance staff to ensure the facilities are in optimal condition. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce facility downtime. Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for repairs and facility projects. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage facility budgets, including forecasting and monitoring expenses. Oversee space planning and allocation, ensuring efficient utilization of space and resources. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and safety protocols. Facilitate communication and collaboration between the facilities team and other departments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, or a related field. Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. Knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety standards. Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools.
