• Position Type: Contract (Travel/Nursing)
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $54.88–$58.88 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3×12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Summary

This is a Level III NICU RN travel contract position at a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in Lubbock, TX. The facility operates as a Level IV NICU unit and is seeking experienced NICU nurses for a night-shift, block-schedule assignment. The client is open to contracts longer than 13 weeks for candidates who desire extended engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the NICU, with expected patient ratios of 1:2–4
• Float between units as required
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements
• Work weekend shifts as required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period on a variable, self-scheduling basis)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level III NICU experience preferred; position is within a Level IV unit

Education Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• TX state licensure required (or compact license eligibility)
