Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the EMR. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols. Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree upon hire Six months of hospital nursing experience upon hire OR successful completion of the AHWC Graduate Nurse Training Program Active Florida RN or APRN license required upon hire Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols Current American Heart Association Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols Current NIHSS Certification upon hire 8 hours Stroke Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually 8 hours Hip & Knee Replacement / Spine Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually AVADE Education within 90 days of hire date Current American Heart Association PALS certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols Pay Range Pay Range: $31.53 - $52.24 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances. #J-18808-Ljbffr Direct Jobs
