Java Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Technology Solutions team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Addison, TX (On-site required; hybrid work model with 3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $60-65

What's the Job?

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, and maintain software applications that support business units and supporting functions.
• Participate in design and development of significant components, ensuring adherence to architecture and bank standards.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment activities within a DevOps culture.
• Provide technical direction and system architecture guidance for individual initiatives.
• Coordinate offshore and onshore tasks to ensure seamless project delivery.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development and leading technical teams.
• Proficiency with IBM MQ, Kafka, Oracle, and related technologies.
• Experience with design, development, and testing of software applications, including code reviews.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment activities.
• Knowledge of Payments domain, Agile methodologies, and containerization tools is preferred.
