Medical Surgical RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical RN to provide quality patient care in a busy acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, work well under pressure, and possess strong clinical skills to manage diverse patient cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
• Document patient interactions and clinical procedures accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Cover pediatric patients as needed and adhere to all hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active OK or compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Be BLS certified; ACLS and CPI certifications preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech electronic charting system.
• Be able to start immediately and commit to a minimum of 1 year.
• Have the ability to work a night shift schedule with a 3x12-hour rotation.
