Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Join an established team of two APPs.

Call structure: One week per month, Monday through Sunday.

Practice setting: Outpatient primary care office.

Access to eight total exam rooms (two dedicated rooms per provider) utilizing the Athena EMR system.

Employed position within a nonprofit health system.

Board certified or board eligible in Nurse Practitioner.

Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Enhance patient access across a rural community, providing exceptional care to a primarily farming-based population.

Drive clinical excellence by performing daily comprehensive chart prep, managing an expected volume of 15 to 20 office patients, and efficiently evaluating lab and imaging results.

• Focus: Everyday healthcare, preventive screenings, and management of chronic conditions.
• Services: Routine physicals (including sports physicals), preventive health exams, vaccinations (such as flu shots), and lab testing.
• Serving the local city population of Brazil, Indiana, which is approximately 8,350, as well as the surrounding community of Clay County, which has a total population of approximately 26,400.

Minimum requirements you'll need:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
