We are looking for a Loan Administrator to support mortgage servicing operations in Frankfort, Kentucky. This Long-term Contract opportunity is suited for someone who can manage delinquent accounts, communicate effectively with borrowers and partners, and maintain strong attention to compliance requirements. The role involves balancing customer support, risk awareness, and accurate loan administration while helping move accounts toward practical resolution.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of delinquent mortgage loans by engaging borrowers through incoming and outgoing communication to address payment issues and next steps.
• Evaluate borrower financial situations to identify hardship factors, assess repayment ability, and determine appropriate workout or escalation options.
• Recommend practical account resolutions that support sustainable repayment outcomes while protecting servicing and organizational interests.
• Act as a point of contact for borrowers, internal departments, and external parties by providing clear updates on loan status, servicing expectations, and available solutions.
• Handle sensitive borrower interactions with professionalism, using sound judgment and de-escalation skills to resolve complex concerns.
• Prepare, review, and track required correspondence and supporting documentation to ensure timely and accurate servicing activity.
• Support foreclosure and liquidation-related administrative work by completing required forms and documentation within established deadlines.
• Monitor unapplied and suspended payment activity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure funds are posted correctly.
• Coordinate with escrow and related support teams on shortages, deficiencies, insurance matters, and payment adjustments affecting borrower accounts.
• Arrange property inspections and follow up on preservation actions to help protect collateral and address occupancy or condition-related risks.• At least 1 year of experience in loan administration, mortgage servicing, loan underwriting, or a closely related financial services role.
• Working knowledge of delinquency management, borrower payment resolution, and mortgage account servicing practices.
• Ability to interpret and follow regulatory, investor, and internal servicing guidelines with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain account matters clearly to borrowers and business partners.
• Experience handling documentation, correspondence, and account records in a detail-oriented and organized manner.
• Comfortable managing challenging customer situations while maintaining professionalism and sound judgment.
• Familiarity with escrow activity, payment processing, payoff handling, or related loan servicing functions is preferred.
• Exposure to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs or similar lending environments is a plus.
