Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Skills: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, PCI, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, TAVR, Pacemaker Insertion, among others.
• EMR system: EPIC

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and provide care to patients undergoing catheterizations.
• Administer medications, including emergency medications and IV vasopressors.
• Perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Ensure infection prevention and adhere to isolation precautions.
• Coordinate care and assist with central line insertion and management.

Compliance / Notes

On-call required, including weekends. Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
