It includes an acute care hospital, emergency department and specialty care center, all wrapped into one convenient location at the intersection of Westmoreland Road and US 21 (Statesville Road) in Cornelius, NC. Hospital and emergency care

The 171,000-square-foot hospital is the heart of Atrium Health Lake Norman. It features:

36 patient care beds, including 12 dedicated women's and children's care beds

8-room emergency department open 24/7

3 operating rooms, including a cesarean (C-section) delivery room

2 newborn nursery stations

2 triage rooms

1 procedure room

Imaging services, including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound and more

Laboratory services

Requires strenuous physical effort while

patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and monitoring supplies. Must have good oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff. May be




required

frequently




stretch, bend, twist, squat or kneel in operating radiographic equipment. Must be able to use hands for power gripping, speed work and precision during manipulation of radiographic equipment and in the case of injured and diseased patients. Vision and hearing for distances of up to 10 feet is necessary. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the workday such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and being near moving equipment. Able to adapt to changes in temperature and humidity
