Sales Engineer

Job Title

Support Sales Account Managers to generate sales of Company products and services. Specifically, responsible for day to day activities to insure customer satisfaction in regards to all activities around quoting new products/ project management and related processes. This role will engage in both customer interaction and internal interaction in order to resolve issues and build strong relationships with both stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

• General Understanding of customer material specifications
• Manage customer contact list
• Prints (Fabrication)
• Quotation Accuracy
• Quoting / CRM quote entry
• Routing compilation
• Understands process for purchased items (hardware, supplies, etc)
• Works well with sales teams

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering/technical discipline and a minimum four (4) years' directly related experience. Or at least 8 years of experience without degree. Customer Interaction - Organizes RFQ, Quotation Follow-up and Schedule Travel arrangements. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Must understand technology and Company products extremely well.
• Must have experience/training in computer technology including familiarity with MS Office, Axapta experience a plus
• Must have developed good/key relationships with internal and external customers.
• Must have demonstrated the ability to seek out and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Must be capable of working with a high degree of personal discipline.
• Must have potential sales leadership qualities.
• BTD Business Understanding and BTD Capabilities, Quotation/Costing process, and Work centers
• Computer Skills - Axapta Proficiency, BMS, General Excel, and Sharepoint

Compensation Salary Range: OTC8 $26.28- $39.43 hourly. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
