Product Manager

About The Role The role drives the product lifecycle for a core platform service, translating complex technical challenges into clear roadmaps that balance enterprise business goals and engineering velocity. This position works closely with distributed engineering teams, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders to define, build, and scale APIs, platform integrations, and developer-focused products. This product manager will define the strategic direction of key service layers, ensuring performance, reliability, and ease of integration. The role requires a strong technical baseline to collaborate effectively with software architects, as well as the business acumen needed to synthesize customer feedback into actionable product requirements. Key Responsibilities Define and own the product vision, strategy, and quarterly roadmap for core backend services and public-facing APIs Translate high-level business goals into detailed technical product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira Partner with engineering leadership to plan sprints, manage technical debt, and ensure execution aligns with architectural goals Establish key product metrics (KPIs) and utilize telemetry tools like Datadog, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to track product adoption and performance Facilitate continuous feedback loops with external enterprise customers and internal developer advocates to refine the product backlog Lead cross‑functional launch plans, drafting technical documentation, API guides, and release notes for both technical and non‑technical audiences What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of experience in product management, technical product management, or systems engineering within a B2B SaaS or cloud platform environment Proven track record of launching developer‑facing products, API integrations, or high‑throughput platform services Strong technical literacy, including a solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and modern database systems Demonstrated ability to write clear, structured product specification documents and run data‑driven prioritization frameworks Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, SQL analysis capabilities, or holding an active AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential #J-18808-Ljbffr
