HR COORDINATOR

Wellington Regional Medical Center

Human Resources Coordinator The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the HR Generalists and Human Resources Director by facilitating various human resources functions aligned with PIW and departmental objectives. This position involves assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities, such as conducting background and reference checks and coordinating new hire orientation. Additionally, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for maintaining employee records, accurately managing HRIS data entry, and serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries. Job Duties/Responsibilities Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, and participation in recruitment events Coordinate pre-employment processes such as drug screens and background checks Organize and present at new hire orientations, including preparation of orientation materials and logistics Process employee status changes through ePAFs and HRIS Manage tuition reimbursement requests and generate HR reports Accurately maintain personnel and contractor files ensuring regulatory compliance Complete employer portions of Form I-9 and track documentation expirations Support external audits by providing required files and documentation Track and manage employee license and certification renewals Assist with Health Stream training administration Respond to workers' compensation inquiries Communicate return-to-work and accommodation details to managers Manage FMLA and other leaves, update employee statuses, and coordinate light duty requests Serve on the Service Excellence Committee and support organizational events Assist with employee engagement initiatives including stay interviews and retention strategies Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries Contribute content to the PIW Newsletter Benefit Highlights Generous Paid Time Off Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plans 401(K) with company match and discounted stock plan UHS employee discounted stock option plan Tuition Reimbursement and Student Loan Repay Program Employee Assistant Program (EAP) Life Insurance and Disability Insurances Flexible Spending Account Pre-tax Metro SmartTrip Benefits Career development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ Subsidiaries! 30% tuition savings on RN-BSN, MSN, MPH, and MSW degree and certificate programs 20% tuition savings on the DNP program with UHS partnered universities Qualifications Bachelors Degree 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources role (minimum) SHRM-CP or PHR (Preferred) EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
