Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Passionate Pediatric Nurses!

Job Description:
- Shift Type: 3x12 Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
- Float Requirement: Mandatory for this position (to similar units or other facilities)
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, with some variation based on unit needs
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Documentation System: EPIC (minimum 1 year of experience required)
- NICU experience is a plus!

Required Certifications:
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- South Carolina RN License

Essential Skills:
- Pediatric Step Down & Pediatric MedSurg/Tele
- Administration of medications, including anti-seizure medications
- Assist with lumbar puncture and handle breastfeeding support
- Central line care and feeding management (bottle, breast, gavage)
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- NG tube insertion and management
- Pediatric dosage calculations and telemetry monitoring

- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics
- Daily Census: 4
- Total Beds: 9
- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 2
- Nights: 2
- Weekends: 2

Support Services:
- IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more!

Compliance Information:
- Required pre-assignment testing and modules to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
- Modules are reimbursable (up to 16 hours)
