Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Manage discharges and admissions. - Basic cardiac drip knowledge.

Preferred Credentials: - BSN preferred.

Unit Details: - Med/Surg overflow. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Common diagnosis/treatment: CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, post cardiac cath care. - Equipment includes Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer lift with weight scale, Abbott glucometer, computers on wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Weekend hours: 12hrs (every other or every third weekend).

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
