Intensive Care Unit RN / Internal Travel Team

Overview We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU/RN) for our Internal Travel Team. The position is a full‑time night role (36 hours per week) with a nightly schedule of 7:00 pm to 7:30 am and requires travel between Emory Healthcare locations. The salary will be based on four different travel levels starting at $62 per hour. Responsibilities Delivers safe, dependable, and effective care to a patient population independently utilizing the nursing process Applies the Synergy Model for Care in practice and uses the knowledge to personalize care for each patient and family Communicates effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and other healthcare team members Documents the nursing process accurately and in the appropriate format (e.g., computer, clinical pathway, chart) Utilizes patient/family input and goals in planning the plan of care Evaluates patient response to planned care and adjusts the plan as appropriate Recognizes needs and advocates for patients based on knowledge of condition Recognizes that cultural differences must be considered in developing patient and family relationships Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least 2.5 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit within the past five years Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and FHM certifications required Professional certification in at least one relevant specialty area preferred Completion of the required professional certification within one year of employment Additional Details Emory is an equal opportunity employer.
