Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Neuroscience/Stepdown – Tennessee

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend requirements; flexible scheduling options available

• 30-bed unit featuring 22 acute care beds and 8 neuro stepdown beds
• Patient ratios of 6:1 on acute care and 4:1 on neuro stepdown
• Comprehensive stroke and neuroscience patient population with advanced equipment including Vapotherm, Bipap, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
• Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation
• Strong support team including RN Charge Nurse, 1-2 Patient Care Techs, and Unit Secretary

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain
• BLS certification required for Acute Care positions
• BLS and ACLS certifications required for Neuro Stepdown positions
• Strong nursing skills and time management abilities
• Stepdown experience preferred for Neuro Stepdown positions
• Advanced critical thinking skills
• Experience with procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement preferred
