The City of Ojai is seeking dependable and community-minded individuals to join our team as Part-Time Trolley Drivers. We are working to expand our reserve driver pool to ensure continuity of operations and maintain the high level of service our residents rely on.

Part-Time Trolley Drivers play a vital role in supporting the City's trolley system by safely operating City vehicles along established routes, providing excellent customer service to riders, and assisting with maintaining timely, reliable transit service.

Key responsibilities include safely operating a City trolley on assigned routes and schedules, providing courteous, professional service to passengers, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, following all City, state, and federal transit regulations, and serving as a reliable member of the reserve driving pool to ensure continuous service coverage.

Qualifications include a valid California Commercial Class C driver's license with Passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, prior commercial or transit driving experience preferred, strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation and benefits include $25.20 - $30.63 per hour, uniforms provided, training offered, and the opportunity to serve the community in a highly valued public-facing position.
