Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in Endoscopy for a temporary assignment in Portland, Oregon. Position Details Specialty: Endoscopy Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (10‑hour shifts) Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Provide nursing care in an Endoscopy unit, supporting physicians and the medical team before, during, and after patient procedures. Deliver technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe practice. Participate in care and maintenance of endoscopes and specialized equipment, maintaining decontamination standards and accurate traceability records. Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment in accordance with standards and regulations. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Expertise in endoscopy, understanding of physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopic procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for at least 2 years; additional certifications may be required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Capability to lift 20 pounds comfortably; may need to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Will be exposed to chemicals and infectious diseases; must follow safety protocols. Compensation & Benefits Pay based on 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
