SCHEDULE: Saturday (flexible, 9a-3p or 10a -4pm

PAY RATE: $24 PER HOUR

Position Overview:

We are actively hiring a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team! 

This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence. Work schedules will be assigned based on Individual's needs, availability, and location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to an individual while they attend a 6 hour program on Saturdays in Brick,NJ.

• Pick the individual up at their residence in Point Pleasant and accompany him to Evermore Solutions program in Brick, NJ and drop him back off at home.

• must have a reliable vehicle with unexpired auto insurance/registration/inspection to take this individual to his program. Provide guidance as needed while he engages with his program assignments or activities.

• Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent

• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.

• Ability to work legally in the United States.

• Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.

• Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.

·         Must have a smart device and data plan to utilize our Employment Visit Verification system.
