Endoscopy TechnicianCome join the Clinical Support team at Mercy Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.Position Purpose:The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting physicians and nurses while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.What you will do:Performs various duties related to Endoscopic Procedures under the direct supervision of the RN and/or MD.Responsible for maintaining par levels of equipment and paperwork in the department.Expedites procedures by putting patients on monitors and obtaining vital signs.Prepares patient's chart, and paperwork necessary for the efficient running of the unit.Performs all tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.Communicates routinely with the Registered Nurse and immediately reports any findings or concerns.Other duties as assigned by the Nurse ManagerMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or Equivalent required.Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.CPR/ Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or Red Cross)Must be able to work Rotating Weekends and Holidays as scheduled.Position Highlights and Benefits :Full-Time, 40 Hours- Day ShiftGreat benefits and Health Insurance Coverage—starting Day One!Career growth and advancement potentialAward-winning Hospitals and DepartmentsPay Range: $20.20- $30.30/hrWe are a group of primary care providers, specialists and surgeons serving patients in Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
