Cell Line Development Research Associate

- N/A
Skills:
- Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture production processes is a critical requirement. This includes small scale (shaker flasks, spinner flasks, spin tubes, deep well) and/or benchtop bioreactor scale.
- Experience with creation, analysis and characterization of new engineered cell lines and stability studies (subcloning, clonal expansion, transient transfection and expression screening) is a strong plus.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques (plasmid design, molecular cloning, SDS-PAGE/western blotting, qPCR, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Automation and ELN experience are a strong plus.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
- Industry experience is a plus but not required
- Basic Knowledge on AAV biology is a plus.
- Must be able to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Experience in laboratory automation hardware and software is a plus.
- Teamwork is a must.
Education/Experience:
- B.S. with 3-6 years of experience, MS. C with 2-5 years of relevant scientific or technical experience in the life sciences industry or equivalent
- Experience in cell culture including materials, instruments and technologies is essential.
- Experience with viral vector production is preferred.
