Job Details Job Location: Livonia - Livonia, MI 48154 Westborn Market | Floral Designer Job Title Floral Designer Department Floral Exemption Status Non-exempt Reports to Floral Manager, Floral Director Job Description We are looking for a part time floral designer that will be responsible for creating and executing unique designs, as well as those requested by clients. This position will require you to be able to design and create independently and efficiently. Employee Benefits 20% employee discount active on your first day of employment Medical, Dental, Vision, and Short-Term Disability insurance for eligible team members 401k Retirement Plan for eligible team members Paid vacation for full-time team members who have completed one year of service with Westborn Market Paid Sick Leave for eligible team members Team lunches Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for creating unique floral arrangements for a variety of events and occasions Design custom pieces for our design showcase Works closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral choices and design options Prepares floral arrangements for daily delivery and ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment Maintains a clean and organized work environment Provides excellent customer service Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Floral Design experience required Excellent creativity and attention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
