Sanitation AssociateThe Pictsweet Company is growing! A 4th generation family owned company established in 1945. Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are recruiting sanitation associates to join our 3rd shift in Clarksville, AR. This facility is a sweet potato processing operation with a night shift sanitation team. This is a safety sensitive position. The role ensures safety systems are in place for operation and production of quality food production products manufactured under clean and safe conditions.ResponsibilitiesWill be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and the facility structure (e.g. floors, pipes, overhead pipes, etc.) This position will be required to accurately complete daily cleaning responsibilities and report findings to the Supervisor.Comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelinesCompany with SDS requirements (proper use of cleaning agents)Comply with Pictsweet's personal protective equipment policiesEnsure cleaning schedule is properly followedComplies with lock-out/tag-out policy and ensures equipment meets lock-out/tag-out standards before sanitation work beginsCleaning and sanitizing equipment per SSOPs Removing waste from the production floorAll other duties assigned by ManagerQualificationsMust be able to read and understand SDS, cleaning instructions and GMP standardsFunctional mechanical understanding of food plant processes and equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team without being disruptive, to accommodate production scheduling needs - must work 3rd shift and mandatory overtimeAbility to stand, walk, stood, bend, kneel, lift, climb, crawl and at times may require average agility and dexterityExcellent attendance is requiredAbility to lift 50 lbs repeatedlyMust be able to use basic hand toolsValid forklift license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
