As a Security Officer - Full Time in Champaign, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role blends strong customer service, communication, and teamwork while supporting a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and support traffic flow for deliveries, shipments, and personnel movement.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and shift communications related to incidents, patrol activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
