Junior Software Engineer

At Aletiq, we’re building the next-generation PLM platform to help cutting-edge industries such as energy, aerospace, and electronics manage their most valuable product data. Our product is highly interactive, handling complex engineering files, 3D vizualisations, and real-time collaboration.

We set high standards to deliver a best-in-class experience to our users. If you enjoy the challenges of fullstack development, this could be the adventure for you!

Being a Software Engineer at Aletiq means:

• Developing an intuitive product: we are different from any other PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system available on the market, introducing simplicity, speed and flexibility to a legacy ecosystem.

• Raising the bar: the quality of our product is critical to our users, requiring strong performances, the smallest issue can have a huge impact on their production line.

• Solving challenges: unify complex product data with versioning, configuration management and hierarchical information, allow our users to enhance their complex business processes

What to expect

Our stack

• Backend - Haskell

• Frontend - React.js, TypeScript

• Database - PostgreSQL

• Ops - NixOS

Projects

We have developed an access rule management system allowing customers to manage access rights on millions of records for thousands of people : quite a challenge to keep performance at the highest level when it comes to calculating an access right based on several hundred rules.

We use Haskell for the backend which allows us to build fast with high quality and to undertake significant refactoring. We have built a very interactive SPA with React and Typescript.

We deal with 3D CAD models, developing a 3D webviewer able to smoothly display a complete satellite, search product tree structure etc.

Huge challenges to come :

• Deep integration of AI agents within our platform

• Integration with new manufacturing tools (cad, circuit design, etc…)

• Rich custom attribute management (formulas, relations, contraints)

The Team

We are expanding our Tech & Product team, reporting directly to Jérémie Fraudeau, co-founder & CTO, you’ll be working alongside talented individuals: 5 Software Engineers, 1 Product Manager and 1 Product Designer.

Software Engineers at Aletiq are fullstack , you’ll be working on both the backend and frontend to ensure full visibility and ownership of the features you develop.

Why we value this role

Our platform allow most innovative manufacturing companies (nuclear, space, electronics…) to store and manage all their product IP in the cloud. It comes with huge engineering challenges regarding safety, resilience, performance with heavy CAD files, real time collaboration…

Aletiq is really a product first company and the engineering team is at the forefront. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be the architect and the builder of our product platform in order to make it the new industry standard.
