As a pediatrician at AHP, you will: Monitor and support the health, growth, and development of children Foster long-term relationships with families built on trust Work alongside a collaborative and passionate team of healthcare professionals Your duties include, but are not limited to: Guiding patients and caregivers on illness prevention and promoting lifelong health practices Establishing treatment plans and providing referrals to specialists Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries Conducting thorough medical examinations and maintaining detailed medical records A Work-Life Balance You Can Count On Our pediatricians enjoy a healthy work-life balance with a typical schedule of 4 days per week, M-F, 8 am to 5 pm , plus 1 administrative day . You will be part of an light equal call and weekend rotation with other pediatricians with no rounding. Job Requirements: Medical degree with specialization in pediatrics Board-certified or board-eligible Not under investigation by a medical board Proficiency with traditional and web-based prescription systems Additional Qualifications: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills Emotional awareness and sensitivity to patients' needs Collaborative team player PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This job will require exposure to patient elements. Works near others, usually within a few feet. May work in a noisy or distracting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and medical equipment. Certain vaccinations are required of all clinic staff. COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS If requested by any patient, then staff is required to wear a surgical mask. Patients are strongly encouraged to wear a mask if they are experiencing any acute respiratory symptoms or have a fever. Employees who are not flu-vaccinated will be required to wear a mask in all patient facing areas from September 1 to March 1st unless dates are modified due to clinical factors (unusual epidemic patterns, etc).
