Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a real impact supporting students across PreK-12th grade as a dedicated School Psychologist in a contract role available near Newark, OH. This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and supports both in-person and potential hybrid work arrangements, making it a flexible fit for skilled professionals passionate about school-based psychological services.
What you’ll need to bring:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience with PreK-12th grade student populations is preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability for hybrid schedules (if applicable)
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students across all grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school support initiatives
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
