Human Resources Specialist

Jensen Imports is hiring a Human Resources & Payroll Specialist to support three dealership locations in Sioux City, Iowa. This role combines payroll administration and core human resources activities, with a focus on accurate processing, compliance, and confidential recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately and ensure timely completion Prepare and process monthly employee commissions Complete payroll tax filings and related reporting Administer 401(k) activity, including enrollments, contributions, and required submissions Prepare and maintain commission worksheets Administer employee benefits and manage related paperwork Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employment documentation Process employee terminations and associated documentation Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment and payroll requirements Assist with additional human resources and administrative duties as assigned Required Qualifications Prior payroll experience is required Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax requirements Exceptional organizational skills and time management Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Reliable and able to meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with payroll, HR, and Microsoft Office software Automotive dealership or multi-location payroll/HR experience is a plus Technology Microsoft Office Compensation and Location Salary: USD 50,000 per year Location: Sioux City, IA (onsite) Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance What Success Looks Like in This Role Takes pride in getting details right Can independently manage multiple priorities Understands payroll and employee information require the highest level of accuracy, discretion, and trust #J-18808-Ljbffr Jensen Imports
