• Shift: 10-hour shifts (flexible options: 10AM - 10PM, 11AM - 11PM, or 12PM - 12AM)
• Hours/Week: Full-Time
• Employment Type: Temporary with potential for perm
• Licenses/Certifications: RN License in TX or Compact, BLS, ACLS, PALS (all required)
• Experience: 2+ years in OR/Surgery setting preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide routine and complex nursing care in the Operating Room and surgical units
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring effectiveness and side effects
• Document patient histories, surgical procedures, and care provided
• Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families
• Collaborate with surgical teams and assist in ongoing patient care management
• Uphold safety standards and hospital protocols in a fast-paced environment
• Adapt to various surgical specialties including neuro, spine, ortho, robotic, vascular, and general surgery

What You Need

Required:

• RN License in Texas or Compact License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
• At least 2 years of OR/Surgery experience in a Level III Trauma setting

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in a trauma center or advanced surgical environments
