Job Title : Substitute Bus Driver

Position Overview : Transport pupils to and from school or school related events.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Transports pupils in the safest manner possible.
2. Enforces bus safety rules.
3. Keeps up-to-date on required regulations.
4. Keeps bus clean.
5. Inspects bus for safety and report needed repairs.

Other Job Functions:

1. Have a genuine interest in children.

Qualifications:


Knowledge of:

1. Current driving laws and regulations

Ability to:

1. Follow oral and written instructions.
2. Maintain composure in stressful situations.
3. Be well groomed and maintain an appropriate appearance.

Experience :

1. Prefer experience with driving a bus or large vehicles

License:

1. Current Oregon CDL

Physical Requirements:


In an eight-hour day, employee may

1. Stand/Walk 5-6 Hours
2. Drive 1-2 Hours
3. Sit 3-4 Hours
4. Stoop/Squat/Bend 1-2 Hours
5. Lift/Carry 1-2 Hours Up to a weight of 50 lbs
6. Climb Stairs Occasionally
7. Use hands for repetitive motions Frequently
8. Use feet for repetitive movements Frequently
