Staff accountant

We are seeking a dynamic Accountant for a contract to hire role for one of our clients, where you will take ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes, perform vital reconciliations, and prepare accurate financial statements. Leveraging your advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) and three to four years of progressive accounting experience, you will play a crucial role in supporting audit preparation and streamlining reporting workflows. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes while maintaining organized financial records and documentation.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze data and streamline reporting workflows.
