What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new hires or interns, and assist in maintaining high standards of lab quality.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Necessary Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Keep current certification active throughout your tenure.
