Behavioral Therapist

Overview Majestic Care ABA is new to the area and looking to grow our team. We are seeking dynamic Registered Behavioral Technicians to join our team. Qualifications Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field preferred but not necessary. Experience working directly with children within a behavioral format preferred but not necessary. Completion of 40-hour RBT training course. Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate encouraged. (We will train if any individual is not currently registered) Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. 18 years of age or older. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills. Basic computer skills desired with willingness to advance skill level. Accept assignment of location or client as required. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Responsibilities Treat clients with respect and dignity. Appropriately engage client during the session. Act as a role model for clients and caregivers. Be consistent, reliable, and provide services on agreed scheduled days. In case of cancellation, attempt to makeup the session and notify BCBA of any discrepancies. Maintain professional and effective communication with family/caregivers. At minimum will be supervised by a BCBA weekly or in accordance to the client’s treatment plan and must be ready to provide feedback to the BCBA on progress. Will meet with supervisor weekly or in accordance with the client’s treatment plan to discuss progress, program development, and analysis of data of child. Notes should be taken daily in Rethink during the last 15 minutes of the session. Session notes require parent signatures for in-home therapy sessions. Data collection and notes should be taken on devices provided by Majestic Care ABA, and not on personal devices. Keep a weekly reinforcement checklist and notify BCBA if anything additional is needed. Maintain clean and organized toys and materials. Not responsible for other children in the household. ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach to behavior and skill development that relies on consistent, reliable staff to deliver structured, individualized interventions—ensuring continuity of care, accurate data collection, and meaningful, lasting progress for each client.
