Part Time Quality Operator

Part Time Quality Operator Job Overview Shift & Working Hours: 10:00 pm – 3:00 am. Shift schedules may include days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Hours are subject to business needs. Compensation Pay: $25.82 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential after 8:00 pm. Responsibilities Coordinate with Operations to ensure a safe, wholesome finished product that meets customer specifications and conforms to all standards within the LOL Quality Management Systems. Monitor activities to ensure compliance with all standards of the EQMS. Collaborate with QA Manager, Supervisors, Leads, and QA Staff to develop programs that support quality‑focused work. Work plant‑wide to protect product integrity from a microbiological and analytical standpoint. Utilize laboratory supplies and items for basic analytical testing and plant sanitation/safety. Perform CCP verification, seal integrity checks, and sensory evaluation as per SOPs. Record all results accurately. Conduct pre‑operational checks of equipment for sanitary conditions when applicable. Report quality and food safety concerns effectively (e.g., broken cups, open seals, FM). Inform supervisors of faulty equipment requiring maintenance or repair. Verify inkjet date code according to procedure. Verify kettle processing temperatures. Follow HACCP principles, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food and Personal Safety procedures, company policies, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications & Experiences At least 18 years old. Minimum of 6+ months of manufacturing experience. Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications & Experiences 1+ year of continuous prior experience in any industry. Self‑reliant and able to work accurately under limited supervision. Physical Requirements Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements. Lift up to 50 pounds. Work in noisy environments while wearing personal protective equipment. Work across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, and in environments where dust may be present.
