Onsite Supervisor

OtterBase is seeking an Onsite Supervisor to support our client's growing hospital-based, non-clinical service program. This role helps lead daily operations, support team development, and ensure consistent, high-quality service throughout the hospital.

The Onsite Supervisor will work closely with onsite staff, hospital leadership, clinical teams, Environmental Services (EVS), and administrative departments to support efficient service delivery and a positive patient experience.

Team Leadership & Operations

• Support new hire onboarding, training, coaching, and team development.
• Help oversee daily operations across multiple patient units.
• Monitor service activity, task completion, and adherence to established procedures.
• Partner with program leadership to support team development, operational needs, and program improvements.

Hospital Coordination & Escalation

Build strong working relationships across hospital departments to coordinate non-clinical services and resolve service issues quickly and professionally. You will also serve as a point of contact for escalated concerns, help maintain clear service documentation, and assist team members with basic application troubleshooting and system updates.

Service Standards

Model professionalism, empathy, and hospitality in all interactions while maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements and hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position with rotating weekend and holiday requirements. The role requires regular movement throughout hospital units and a hands-on leadership presence throughout the workday.
