COTA- Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
The Springs of Red Oak is seeking a skilled and compassionate COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team in Hot Springs, AR. As a vital member of our healthcare organization, you will work alongside occupational therapists to design and implement tailored therapy programs for our patients. Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in creating individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being
Implement and modify therapy programs to meet patient needs, including exercises, activities, and interventions
Monitor patient progress, record treatment outcomes, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation
Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in staff development and education to stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions

Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies
Current OTA license in the state of Arkansas
Minimum 0 years of experience in occupational therapy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
