PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE III

Job Overview Advanced nursing work of a consulting and supervisory nature in a specialized field of public health nursing. Responsibilities Provide advanced nursing consultation and supervisory support within public health nursing settings. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license to practice nursing in Louisiana. Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Science in Nursing may replace two (2) years of RN experience. Preferred: experience as an EMT/Paramedic and EMT certification. Legal and Administrative Requirements Verification of education and licenses prior to appointment. Submission of original documentation of credentials before start date.
