Position Overview We are in search of a dedicated and proficient Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist eager to join a cohesive team of imaging specialists committed to exceptional patient care. In this role, you will leverage advanced ultrasound technologies to perform diagnostic procedures, collaborate seamlessly with fellow clinicians, and provide patients with the satisfaction and reassurance that comes from accurate and timely imaging. Responsibilities Included
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations across several specialties, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, taking care to explain processes with kindness and clarity
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues swiftly
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technologies and best practice protocols
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Participation in a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
