About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: Unit details include weekend rotation that will be discussed during the interview. Call is required and is variable, typically including one weekday call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Floating is required within facility and scope of practice as needed. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Holiday coverage is required for major holidays that fall within the assignment period. Travelers are expected to work major holidays, defined as Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met in time, there will be a delay of two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. The minimum experience requirement is 2 years, and first-time travelers are accepted. The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Additional unit information includes interdisciplinary support from respiratory services and interpretation services. Management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to support unit needs. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. Max RTO is seven days per contract, and no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite. Compliance onboarding requires completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to the start. Modules vary by specialty and are completed during orientation.
