We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our fast-paced, fun, and energetic quick-service restaurant. At Chicken Guy!, we work together to deliver an exceptional guest experience while serving quality food in the high-energy environment of Disney Springs. We offer opportunities across multiple areas of the restaurant and believe in cross-training our Team Members to develop their skills, discover their strengths, and support the needs of the operation.

Team Members may work in Front of House (FOH), Back of House (BOH), and other restaurant positions based on their experience, strengths, interests, and operational needs. We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn, take on new responsibilities, support their teammates, and grow with us.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Guest Service and Front of House (FOH)

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and energetic greeting when they approach the counter.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Help guests understand the menu, answer questions, and ensure they have a positive ordering experience.
• Learn about Chicken Guy!'s menu items and signature sauces to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Review orders with guests at the counter to help ensure accuracy before processing payment.
• Identify potential missing items, such as drinks or fries, and offer guests the opportunity to add them to their order.
• Process payments accurately using the electronic point-of-sale system.
• Thank guests and direct them to the appropriate meal pickup area.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming guest areas.
• Support dining room operations, including bussing tables and assisting with food running as needed.

Kitchen and Back of House (BOH)

• Assist with food preparation, including measuring, portioning, and preparing ingredients according to established standards.
• Support line cook and prep cook responsibilities as trained and assigned.
• Follow recipes, food safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Assist with dishwashing and maintaining clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team to support timely and accurate order preparation.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized restaurant environment.

Teamwork and Cross-Training

• Learn and perform multiple restaurant positions based on individual strengths, training, and business needs.
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist other areas of the restaurant when needed.
• Demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous guest-facing, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact warmly, positively, and energetically with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to communicate in English and respond to guest questions.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to count change and process transactions accurately.
• Ability to learn and operate an electronic point-of-sale system.
• Willingness to learn multiple positions and support different areas of the restaurant.
• Strong teamwork, dependability, flexibility, and attention to detail.
